After the concert, the Equal Education crew organized the students to begin the march to Parliament. What a feat it must have been getting every one coordinated, and they did a wonderful job. Off we went in a crowd of 15,000–20,000 singing and chanting all the way! It was an incredible feeling watching the youth gather around such a worthwhile cause.
The march begins leaving the Grand Parade down Darling St
Although the children were very excited, this was a very peaceful march
Taking a right on Tennant St past CPUT
Turning down Roeland St heading straight for Parliment
Free the books!
Stopped by the Gardens on the way home for the Cape Town Festival
