A short ferry from Auckland takes you to the Island of Waiheke. This is a beautiful and tropical oasis very close to Auckland. It is known for its orange sand and shell beaches, wineries, and as a getaway from the busy city. We rented e-bikes and toured around the island on a beautiful autumn day.
