Went on a GeekRetreat to the beautiful Stanford Valley just north of Hermanus this past weekend. I will be reflecting on the GeekRetreat experience on my work blog. We stayed in the amazingly peaceful Stanford Valley cottages. We also visited the local craft brewery Birkenhead where we had a lovely tour and tasting-I never get sick of touring breweries although the tour is always the same!!! Birkenhead even printed us some fancy custom labels! Their lager is easily one of my favorite craft brews in South Africa – wish there was more availability in Cape Town.
