This weekend we attended the Cape Town festival in the Company Gardens in central Cape Town. We caught a number of great musical acts performing under the sun.
While walking in the Gardens we encountered a baby squirrel. This was my first ever sighting of a baby squirrel and it was so amazing! He was so tiny and friendly, basically jumping into people arms. I fear that he may have fallen from his nest somewhere in the trees. Really hope he makes it!
These pictures were taken on my new Nokia E63 phone which I am thoroughly enjoying.
Barely remember the movie “Short Circuit” but this brought it all back!
Amazing experience encountering a baby squirrel who was clearly lost and would jump into anyone’s hand.
Almost like holding a hampster
I really hope he made it home
