After an entire year of no travel beyond Cape Town, I finally managed to escape to Beira Mozambique for a 6 day trip. I have always wanted to visit Mozambique, and a friend of mine who lives in Beira and who I have been doing a little consulting with invited me up for a visit. Beira is only about 4 hours by air from Cape Town, but it is a completely different world! I flew for the first time on a propeller plane which was an experience of its own, slightly bumpy on the way in!
