On day 3 Christian and I got to doing some work. I am consulting with Christian on his new project the ‘Centro de Internet Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação‘. This business venture aims to offer ICT training to students, institutions, and businesses in Beira. We strategized about the course curriculum and worked on his website.
Chris lives at the top of a four story building in a large lofty flat. The flat has a balcony which wraps around the entire building offering much flexibility in terms of views. On the left side one can see a soccer field, in front is the beach and one can just sit all day watching the ships go by, and to the right is a residential area and in the distance one can make out the buildings of the city. The flat is brilliant as it is logical to spend time in each room as the sun crosses the sky. As the sun passes above, people go about their daily tasks down below and I enjoyed just watching people go about their business.
Naturally the day ended with a walk along the beach. I could get used to this!
Here is a short video taken as the boats come in from fishing.
