After hiking the Exit Glacier in Seward in the morning I arranged a boat cruise to see the ocean front side of the Kenai Fjords in the afternoon. I was apprehensive about going on the boat cruise as I considered it a touristy activity. However, after taking the trip I had absolutely no regrets. The trip was well worth it: the wildlife was lively, completely natural and varied widely throughout the trip. It felt a lot like going on safari in Africa, we saw so much wildlife, and I did not imagine such a “safari” could be possible in North America.
