After all the rain the previous day we were greeted to sunshine for our day cruising Milford sound. The mountains seem to rise right out of the ocean and climb high into the sky. Many of the waterfalls were still raining down and the boat captain was able to get under a number of them thrilling the brave passengers who wanted a cold shower. We took a smaller boat enabling these closer encounters to shore and wildlife. A great experience.
