A long drive back along the route to Queenstown. On the way we exchanged the van with the friendly staff at Jucy Rentals. I had not heard the stowaway for the last couple nights, but we thought it best to reset and allow them a chance to ensure their van had not been damaged by the critter.
This was our first stay in a Holiday Park, basically a trailer park. You could not beat the convenience as we were walking distance to the city, but we were sardined into a grassy parking lot with no trees or character.
Queenstown was ok, it’s a small city. I missed the wild of Milford Sound and looked forward to more natural beauty. Dispute this, we had a blast on the
Skyline Gondola, were thrilled riding the luge, and enjoyed the twilight views from the top.
Planning for two nights here, we only spent one. Onwards towards the west coast!
