I have been wanting to share these pictures from my older trips for a while now.  Enjoy~!

In 2003 I was part of a delegation of Canadian students and teachers who travelled to South Korea.   We worked at an English camp for students aged 6-16.  English training is a major component of the South Korean curriculum.  The camp was an opportunity for the students to be immersed with native English speakers for two weeks.

It was a life changing trip for me.  My first major journey out of Canada and first overseas work experience.  The 15 hour plane ride from Chicago to Tokyo was brutal as I could not sleep in anticipation.  The day the customs officials arrived and threatened to shut down the camp unless a small bribe was offered.  Going paintballing with the students and getting completely plastered with paintballs.  The camp moving locations half way through due to some mismanagement.   Many lovely meals and ’interesting’ breakfasts.  Soju.  The amazing coast and islands.

Kamsahamnida!!!
