University of Cape Town Graduation

Today I graduated from the University of Cape Town with my masters degree in philosophy, with a specialization in the use of information and communication technologies in education.   My masters was awarded with distinction as I received a significantly high overall grade from my coursework and dissertation.  It’s a great accomplishment and reflects closure on what I came to do in Cape Town, South Africa.  I was fortunate to be able to cross the stage with three of my colleagues with who I engaged in coursework in 2009, my senior professors and friends.  It was a beautiful day to graduate … phew!

Congratulations micheal on your achievement. From the ICT Stream Desk, you and everyone capped today, have made us all very proud. As Prof Nan Yield, Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, commented in her closing remarks of the ceremony, ‘today you party, tomorrow you change the world’. Well done!
